Who we are

This policy explains how Empower Agency (“Empower”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data for visitors to this website. We are based in the United Kingdom and act as the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at admin@empower-agency.co.uk.

What we collect

• Creator applications: the details you submit in the application form — your name and creator name, email, preferred contact method and handle, country and time zone, information about your platforms, audience and goals, and optional commercial ranges.
• Careers applications: your name, email, location, the role applied for, experience, availability and any links you provide.
• Contact messages: your name, email, topic and message.
• Technical & campaign data: referral source, landing page and any UTM parameters, captured to understand where applications come from.
• Analytics: Aggregate, cookieless traffic data via Vercel Web Analytics — always on, no consent needed, as it doesn't identify you or use cookies. No additional analytics provider is currently active. See our Cookie Policy. We do not store application form contents in analytics.

We do not ask for explicit content or government-issued identity documents through this website.

Why we use it (lawful bases)

• To review and respond to your application or message — necessary for steps taken at your request and our legitimate interest in assessing fit.
• To contact you about your application — with your consent and on the basis of your request.
• To understand aggregate website usage and improve the site — based on our legitimate interests, using cookieless Vercel Web Analytics. Any future optional analytics provider would operate only with your consent.
• To comply with our legal obligations where applicable.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted processors to operate the site and handle submissions. They process data only on our instructions and only for the purposes below. We do not sell your data.

• Vercel Inc. — hosts this website and its server-side functions.
• Resend — delivers application, careers and contact form submissions to our inbox by email.
• Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate, cookieless traffic analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Doesn't identify you individually.

This list reflects every processor currently in use — we do not currently use any additional analytics provider beyond Vercel Web Analytics. If a CRM, scheduling tool or similar is introduced later, it will be added here.

International transfers

Some processors may be located outside the UK — for example, Vercel and Resend operate infrastructure in the EU/US. Where that is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) that these providers maintain.

How long we keep it

We keep application, careers and contact data only as long as necessary to consider your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete or anonymise it: unsuccessful applications are kept for up to 12 months in case a similar opportunity comes up, and contact messages for up to 24 months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct inaccurate data;
• ask us to erase your data;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• data portability;
• withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect prior processing); and
• complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit access to it.

Children

This website and our services are strictly for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
